Kirk J. Koogler, OD

Dr. Koogler graduated magna cum laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry in May of 1995. He gained valuable learning experiences from externship sites at Houston Eye Associates, Hermann Eye Clinic, and the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
Dr. Koogler is a member in good standing of the Tarrant County Optometric Society, Texas Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association. In addition, he takes continuing education classes to stay current with advancements in his field. |
Dr. Koogler opened Southlake Family Eye Care in January of 1997. He chose Southlake as the location for his private practice because it is a dynamic community with excellent schools. Dr. Koogler and his wife have two children, and are excited about their opportunity to serve the ophthalmic needs of Southlake and its surrounding communities.

Sherri has been in the eye care industry for 27 years--12 years at Southlake Family Eye Care. She enjoys camping, reading, and hanging out with her husband and 4 animals. You can count on Sherri's honesty when selecting the perfect frame and lenses for your prescription!

Kim is our office manager (and the doctor's wife) and has been with Southlake Family Eye Care since it began. She has a degree in Business Composite Teacher Education and completes Continuing Education courses regularly to stay up to date on all the latest eye care. Kim knows everything there is to running the office, from managing insurances and billing to helping you pick out glasses and contacts.
In her free time (ha, ha, ha) she loves to read, craft, travel, and hang out with friends and family. |

Kelsey is our office technician and contact lens expert! Outside of the office, she enjoys Netflix shows, swimming, concerts, and spending time with her large family and friends. Kelsey's goal is to always make sure patients are happy and comfortable in our office.
